What people ask before downloading
Can anyone see my debts, or what people owe me?
No. Your ledger is stored encrypted on your phone and never reaches us. It leaves the phone only inside a backup you ask for, encrypted with a PIN we never know.
If I lose my phone, do I lose my ledger?
If you have a backup, you can restore your ledger on another phone after verifying your number, using the PIN you chose. Without a backup, the ledger exists only on that phone.
Does it work without internet?
Yes. Recording and reviewing need no internet. It is used only for verification and backup.
Is it a bank or a loan app?
No. tamemli is a ledger only: it moves no money, lends no money, and pays no one on your behalf.
How do I delete my data from the server?
In the app, open Profile or Help centre, then “Delete my data from the server”. Or follow the steps on the data deletion page.
